Tail of crashed AirAsia plane recovered

The tail of the crashed AirAsia flight QZ8501 has been lifted off the Java Sea.
This is so far the biggest wreckage that has been found of the fallen plane, which had a total of 162 passengers, all of whom are presumed dead. (more…)

Search operations continue for the AirAsia flight QZ8501, and authorities have confirmed that at least nine bodies have been recovered off the coast of Borneo in Indonesia.

8 children found dead in Cairns home; Australian woman charged with murder

Eight children were found dead on Friday in a house in Cains in Queensland, Australia.
According to a report by the BBC, the 34-year-old suspect is Mersane Warria, the mother of at the seven children. She was suffering from stab wounds when police found her. She was taken to the hospital and is now stable. (more…)
